What is QuintEssential Registry?
QuintEssential Registry is a straightforward way to give and receive Cash contributions. Givers have the convenience and safety of using their credit card, and our easy-to-use website allows the recipient to share information and track gifts with the convenience of the Internet.

How does QuintEssential Registry work?
QuintEssential Registry works pretty similar to other gift registries. You inform your guests that you’re registered with QuintEssential Registry. QuintEssential Registry gives you the ability to create your own personal profile that allows you to list information and post pictures about your planned event. Friends and family members will be able to view your registry by searching by last names or by gift registry number assigned to you upon completing your registration. Friends and family members will then be able to contribute cash to your registry. QuintEssential Registry will then combine all cash contributions to your register and forward you a check for the combined amount of all the gifts given minus a small processing fee.

How will my personal registry look?
You will have the ability to personalize your registry by uploading a picture and entering a personal written description of your event. Your personal registry will look similar to this sample registry.

What are your fees?
Setting up a registry with QuintEssential Registry comes at no cost to the registrant. We only receive fees when a contribution is made to your registry. You will never pay anything out of pocket for your registry with us. Therefore, in the unlikely event that none of your guests contribute at QuintEssential Registry, you will not incur any fees.
Once your registry has been funded and closed, a flat fee of $10 will be deducted if the balance exceeds $110. In the event your registry closes with less than $110 threshold the flat fee will be waived. For Registries where the total sum given is greater than or equal to $550, your balance will be sent via certified mail for which an additional $3 postage fee will automatically be deducted from the your QuintEssential Registry balance.
Additionally, the contributor will pay a transaction fee based on the amount contributed.

When will we receive our QuintEssential Registry check?
The date you receive your balance from QuintEssential Registry is based on the date that you choose for your registry closing. QuintEssential Registry will mail your check within 3 business days of your registry close date. On average, you will receive your check within 3-7 business days of the gift registry close date.

How are checks delivered?
Checks are mailed by QuintEssential Registry within 3 business days after the gift registry close date (which is selected by the registrant). Our checks are delivered via certified mail or regular mail (depending on the registry balance) and on average are delivered within 3-7 business after the gift registry close date. For your safety, all checks are made out to you, are marked "for deposit only," and will only be delivered to the current account address on file with QuintEssential Registry when your gift registry closes.

Is it appropriate for me to ask for money gifts for my event?
Absolutely! Money has always been an acceptable and even preferred gift. Gift registries were created to deal with the issue of duplicate gifts, but these registries have become so standard that you may find it difficult to politely request money. QuintEssential Registry offers a solution to this problem by helping you design an informational webpage as part of your registry to share your plans for the money you receive. In addition to other registries, your guests will have an option to give you money that can be used towards any item of your choice. Friends and family who choose this option will be pleased to know that their generosity will be appreciated and used where needed most.

Is it appropriate for me to register with QuintEssential Registry and with a retail store?
In addition to monetary gifts, we understand that you may also have a few specific items from retail outlets that you would really like to receive. If this is the case, an additional registry might be for you. Keep in mind that you can also use a portion of the money you receive from QuintEssential Registry to make your smaller purchases. QuintEssential Registry alone may be the best option. The choice is entirely up to you.

Are my gifts safe with QuintEssential Registry?
You can be assured of the safety of using our site because all of your sensitive personal information is encrypted, and all of our transaction pages utilize the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol. Additionally, QuintEssential Registry does not store any credit card information after a transaction has been completed. Finally, any gifts that you receive are held in accounts created for the exclusive benefit of our users in an FDIC insured bank. The funds in these accounts are the property of the gift recipient as soon as we process the transaction. HACKER SAFE certified sites prevent over 99.9% of hacker crime.

How much money should I give?
The gift amount is your own personal choice, and depends on many factors, most importantly your personal budget. QuintEssential Registry does have a minimum gift requirement amount of $10 additionally our only other stipulation is that gifts given be in whole dollar amounts.

How do I create a link to my QuintEssential Registry page from my other personal websites?
Please visit your QuintEssential Registry page and copy your unique URL from the address bar in your browser. You can then paste this URL on any website, email, etc. Your unique URL will be in the following form: http://www.QuintEssentialRegistry.com/rs99999/ (where rs99999 is the your QuintEssential Registry Registry Number).

Why am I not receiving e-mails from QuintEssential Registry? Why are gift givers not receiving confirmation e-mails?
QuintEssential Registry messages may be undeliverable for various reasons. Depending on the settings of email in boxes, notifications may be filtered as spam or junk/bulk mail. Please check these folders in your email service.

What is the “Verification Number”?
The verification number is the three-digit number on the back of your credit card (Visa, MasterCard, and Discover). Normally, your account number is printed on the back of your card, followed by your three-digit verification number (i.e., the three numbers furthest to the right).

Please make sure that you click the "Save Changes" button at the bottom of this page. Your edits will only be saved when you click this button.

If, for whatever reason, you would like to halt contributions to your QuintEssential Registry account, simply login to your registry account and change the registry close date to the closest date allowed. Please note registry account information will be deleted 30 days after registry close date.

How do I delete my personal QuintEssential Registry Gift Registry and Website?
In the unfortunate event that you need to delete your QuintEssential Registry account, you must submit your request to our customer service department via email at contact@QuintEssentialRegistry.com or visit our contact us page. Please be sure to specify the personal gift registry number that corresponds to the registry you would like to have deleted. For verification and security purposes, we will then contact you using the email address we have on file for your gift registry. Once the verification response is received from you, your gift registry and personal website will be deleted from our system within 3 business days. All contributions to your registry and the registry close date is marked with a future effective date, QuintEssential Registry will change the close date to reflect the deletion date. QuintEssential Registry will then process your account in accordance with all applicable service fees and timelines.
